Terms of Service

Last updated: August 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the services provided by GLGL Shipping & Logistics ("GLGL", "we", "us", or "our"), including our freight forwarding, logistics, and procurement services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Shipping and Freight Forwarding

2.1 Cargo Dimensions and Weight: All shipping quotes are estimates based on the information provided. Final billing will be determined by the actual weight or volumetric weight (whichever is greater) upon receipt at our warehouse.

2.2 Customs and Clearance: While GLGL handles standard customs clearance, the client is ultimately responsible for ensuring that imported goods comply with local laws. GLGL is not liable for delays, seizures, or additional duties imposed by customs authorities.

3. Procurement and Sourcing Services

For our procurement services, GLGL acts as a purchasing agent on your behalf. We will make every effort to source items exactly as described. However, we are not the manufacturer and do not provide warranties on the procured goods. Any product defects or warranty claims must be addressed directly with the original manufacturer or supplier.

4. Prohibited Items

Clients are strictly prohibited from shipping illegal, hazardous, flammable, or internationally restricted items. This includes, but is not limited to: unauthorized pharmaceuticals, weapons, explosives, and counterfeit goods. GLGL reserves the right to inspect all cargo and refuse shipment of any item deemed unsafe or illegal.

5. Limitation of Liability

GLGL shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use our services, including delays caused by weather, geopolitical events, or port strikes (Force Majeure). Our maximum liability for any lost or damaged cargo is limited to the declared value of the goods at the time of booking, subject to our standard insurance policies.
